Cancer cytopathology. Cancer Cytopathology studies the whole tissue in contrast to histopathology and is generally used on samples of free cells or tissue fragments. Cytopathology is usually aid to the diagnosis of cancer and also helps in the diagnosis of certain infectious diseases and other inflammatory conditions.
